Eligibility Criteria (UG & PG) of Naturopathy

For undergraduate Physiotherapy Courses

  • Must have passed 10+2 from a recognized educational board with primary science subjects. PCMB (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Biology) is a must.

  • A minimum of 45% aggregate score is required.

  • Students who have not opted for science in 10+2 can do the 1-year training programme at the National Institute of Naturopathy, Pune

For post-graduate Physiotherapy courses

Must have a Bachelor’s degree in Naturopathy or other similar courses.

Scope of Naturopathy

Looking at the high demand for these professionals, the scope is very wide, both in India and abroad. Naturopathy has a huge audience in India as many households do not wish to consume allopathic medicines for their ailments. 

Job opportunities are easily available as not many people opt for this course and hence, the job opportunities in this realm are not yet saturated. Students of this course can work in the fields of naturopathy practice, nutrition, dietetics, neurophysiology, acupuncture, homoeopathy, among a plethora of others. 

Job opportunities are offered by both the public sector and the private sector. Several companies practising the various branches of natural medicine need skilled naturopaths.

1 Bachelor of Naturopathy & Yoga Sciences (BNYS) 4 and a half years +1 year internship Should have completed 10+2 (or equivalent) examination from a recognized board
1 MD in Naturopathy 2 years Graduation in any Yoga and Naturopathy field (BNYS) or MBBS+ 1 year of Mandatory Internship
